For Outlook 2013, 2016, and 2019 you can follow steps the same as the 2007 version. In addition to those steps in the end you get to create a password for the PST file. After extracting the data to the PST file, you can access it through the Outlook application easily.

Method 2: View OST File Calendar from Exchange Server

This method is actually helpful to extract calendar details from the Exchange server. The list of them steps that must be followed have been given in the following way:

  • Shut down your Microsoft Outlook Application.
  • Go to Control Panel. Select the mail option.
  • On the Mail tab, select the Exchange Account and go to the Change option.
  • Uncheck ‘Use catched exchange mode’ and go to more settings.
  • Find the offline folder file settings under the advanced tab.
  • Click on Disable offline use and click on Yes.
  • You will be transferred back to the previous window. Go to offline folder file settings and click on OK and Next. Finally click on Finish.
  • Restart the application.
Method 3: Third-party tools

Above mentioned steps to extract calendar from OST file are a little complicated and take time. In addition to that, if the OST file is not connected to the exchange server, you will not be able to use the above method. Third-party tools such as OST to PST converter works for files even if they are not connected. They also reduce time by reducing the gap between converting OST to PST and using it in Outlook steps.
